Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 10 August 2026

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of subscriptions, services and physical hardware via jegon.net, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.

1. Seller

Jegon ApS, Overdrevsvej 46, 2765 Smørum, Denmark, CVR no. 46442679, phone +45 22 11 52 72, email contact@jegon.net (hereafter "Jegon" or "we"). See also our "About" page for full company details.

2. Products and services

jegon.net offers monitoring of IT equipment and networks, as well as connecting and displaying data from IoT/LoRaWAN sensors and gateways. Access is sold partly as a fixed subscription and partly on a usage basis depending on the number of devices (sensors/gateways) connected to the account, as described on jegon.net at the time of purchase.

In addition, jegon.net sells physical hardware, including sensors, firewalls, routers and wifi access points. Sales of physical hardware are currently limited to customers with a delivery address in Denmark. We expect to expand to more countries as Jegon establishes a local presence (staff and/or a local company) in the relevant country.

3. Prices, currency and VAT

Prices on jegon.net are displayed and charged in the currency you have selected in your user profile: Danish kroner (DKK), euro (EUR) or US dollars (USD). Your choice of currency is independent of which country you live in – it is entirely up to you.

Prices are displayed depending on the account type you have selected in your user profile. If you have selected "Private", prices are shown inclusive of VAT – Danish VAT is always added for private customers (B2C), regardless of whether you live in Denmark, another EU country, or outside the EU.

If you have selected "Business" in your user profile, prices are always shown exclusive of VAT. Whether VAT is then added at checkout depends on where the business is registered: Danish businesses have Danish VAT added at checkout (which can subsequently be reclaimed via the Danish VAT system), businesses registered in another EU country must provide a valid VAT number to be invoiced without VAT under the reverse charge mechanism – if no valid VAT number is provided, Danish VAT is added – and businesses outside the EU do not need to do anything further and are always invoiced without VAT.

Jegon reserves the right to change prices with reasonable notice. Price changes do not apply to already paid periods.

4. Ordering and formation of agreement

A binding agreement is formed once you have completed payment via the chosen payment method on jegon.net. You will receive an order confirmation at the email address registered on your account.

For purchases of physical hardware, you must provide a delivery address in Denmark. We are currently unable to accept orders for physical hardware with delivery outside Denmark, see section 2.

5. Payment

Payment is made by payment card (e.g. Dankort, Visa, Mastercard) via our payment provider. For subscriptions, the amount is charged automatically at the start of each new billing period until the subscription is cancelled. Card transactions are encrypted, and jegon.net does not itself store your card details.

6. Delivery

For digital services (subscriptions), "delivery" takes the form of granting access to the ordered feature(s) on your jegon.net account, normally immediately after payment is completed.

For physical hardware, delivery is made by shipping to the Danish delivery address you provided when ordering. Estimated delivery time is stated at the time of purchase. Risk of loss passes to you once you (or a person designated by you) has physically received the goods.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a private customer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on both digital services and physical hardware – Jegon grants this right in full, even though digital services are delivered/activated immediately. See our right of withdrawal and refund policy for the full rules, including the special rules for returning physical hardware, and the rules for business customers (B2B), who do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

Read the right of withdrawal and refund policy

8. Cancellation

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period, unless otherwise stated for the specific product. Cancellation is done via your jegon.net account or by contacting contact@jegon.net. Upon cancellation, access to the cancelled features is lost at the end of the period, and amounts already paid for the current period are not refunded.

9. Right to complain about defects

For digital services (subscriptions): these are delivery of a digital service rather than a physical good, so the general Danish Sale of Goods Act rules on defects do not apply directly. If you experience errors or defects in the service, please contact us at contact@jegon.net so we can fix the issue or find a solution as quickly as possible.

For physical hardware: the general Danish Sale of Goods Act right to complain about defects applies, i.e. 24 months from delivery. See our right of withdrawal and refund policy for the detailed rules on complaints about hardware.

10. Limitation of liability

jegon.net is provided "as is". We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation. Jegon is not liable for indirect losses, including loss of operation, resulting from downtime or errors in the service, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

11. Personal data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

12. Complaints

If you wish to complain about your purchase, please contact us at contact@jegon.net. If this does not lead to a solution, you can complain to the Danish Center for Complaint Resolution (Nævnenes Hus), Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark (naevneneshus.dk). If you live in another EU country, you can complain via the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Governing law and venue

The agreement is governed by Danish law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled by the Danish courts.

14. Changes to these terms

Jegon may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice, e.g. by email or a notice on jegon.net.
